Tenofovir Disproxil

by Onyedikachi Chinedu

on the curb | you gave the Rolex | flee within the minute's hand | racing dark | we moved away | from ticking time | it's known I had nothing | to give | you demanded nothing | and I knew you were gone | forever it's a small town of forevering | a platonic time | from where we were  your calloused fingers fastened | to the pocket's hole | we | lost in the labyrinth | of a busy day you | stuttered and stared | bleak | blank repeat | our fading | the shine of fireflies | a time we promised | ourselves tome in the dream’s threshold | you above me | and my shadows were leaves | flustered in the wind

trinkets | plastic things | tenofovir disoproxil fumarate | lamivudine USP | in the time of Prep | I gave you everything
