I remember the cold
by Nazaret Ranea
I remember the cold
I remember throwing up
Sugar
And something else.
I remember how you looked
At me with eyes
Full of disgust.
And I remember the door
As it slapped behind your
Steps
It was the brightest blue
I've ever seen.
