I mistake love for hate

by Natalia Anthony

in morning I slip back into velvet land but recall the dream by taste

its yin

the plastic remainder

of pale rose instilling itself

into the walls of our home

sex should be embarrassing just a little bit

I don’t take friendship for granted as a deathbed employee

He teases me on my way

up the bull

come crashing down

ii

coil dragon shakes on again sets off happy alarms

at the scene of terrific gorgeousness awful bright BLUE and RED watching the artists attack

the mirror

every romantic picture flat

is a private joke to myself

here where they put me

they’ve got me on stilts

over the masses

vowing Large

to be kind
