Dionysian Disappointment
by Mahdi Meshkatee
There is no continuity
In this ruthless orgy.
Souls unmoor from the
Seasick genitals mingle
In confused necessity. How
Disappointing this complete
Negation of on-par quality.
Open your big eyes: There
Is equality, none, only denial,
The tumult of the sweating
Parties. There is no limit to
Human brutality, as history
Bemoans. It is impossible to stay
Nothing, on-deck this sinking, vacuous
Everything. The dearth remains
Welcoming to the free-falling.
