Grey

by Luís Costa

I wish I could desire

like oil

begs for garlic

a stifling pulse

driving

blades into

ripe tomatoes

as rushing trains

through the skin

a mouth parched

craving glugs

of drowning wine

shivering fingers

wanting

fervent fire

to brave the winter
