Rexulti

by Grace Downey

Some evil microwave man is knocking

on my door. He speaks in radio waves

and he’s tapping out prophecies

with his left shoe. If I listen too closely

I’ll kiss static. Unscramble

that and I can learn the movements of

the deer through our woods and I can

track every hunter who sets foot

on our land. I can stop them if

I let him in.
