Elizabeth Austin is an architect, designer, and community educator dedicated to advancing disability justice and neuro-inclusion in the built environment and beyond. She also makes hand-cut analog collages, primarily from discarded books rescued from the stoops of her Brooklyn neighbors, not-so-heroically circumventing their journey to the landfill. She created the mail-based collaborative art project In Good Hands—In Good Time to reimagine how we practice community care and foster accessible connection.
