Brooklyn Christofis, a practicing archaeologist and maybe (just maybe) a part-time poet, is seeking to fuse the anthropological and poetic disciplines together. A recent M.A. Anthropology graduate from San Diego State University, they spend their newfound free time doing much of the same things: monitoring construction sites, continuing their thesis research as a post-grad, and zoning out to darkwave. Brooklyn can say with certainty that they chase the haze of the thick Arizona heat they grew up in, searching for new ways to replicate it in their own writing.
